The Downingtown Area Senior Center, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c) (3) charitable organization. We gladly accept financial contributions and donations of goods or services.  The following list highlights some of the ways you may be able to help us soar to new heights:

Give a financial gift to DASC

If you would like to make a financial contribution to Downingtown Area Senior Center, Inc. simply mail your contribution to:

Please be sure to include your name and return address so that we may acknowledge your gift and provide you a receipt for tax purposes.  If you wish to restrict your gift for a specific use you must indicate the restriction at the time of your contribution.

Or contribute online with your credit card through a secure PayPal donation.  You do NOT need a PayPal account to use this option - PayPal simply handles the transaction for us.

Volunteerism

DASC is always seeking volunteers to assist us with our classes, clubs and fundraisers. If you would like more information on becoming a volunteer at our Center, please see our volunteer opportunities page.

Corporate/Matching Gifts

You may work for a company that will match financial gifts to Downingtown Area Senior Center. Contact your human resources department or benefits administrator to find out what your companies requirements are. One phone call by you could increase the impact your donation will have.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts

Memorial and tribute gifts offer a wonderful and thoughtful way to remember a much loved friend or family member. Also, consider celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations, or births with a tribute gift.

United Way(s)

DASC is a member agency of United Way of Chester County and is eligible to receive donations through the United Way Donor Choice program. When donating through United Way of Chester County simply use our legal name (Downingtown Area Senior Center, Inc.) to designate our Center to receive your contribution.  If you contribute through the United Way of Southeastern PA you must use our Agency Number - #6566 to direct your contribution to our Center.

Special Events

Annually, we hold our Spring Fling Dinner Dance and Silent Auction as well as "That Event" in the fall  to raise funds for our programs and services. For more information on how you or your business can be a part of these great events, please call Bill at 610-269-3939. 

Store Receipt Program

We participate in the ACME grocery store receipt program. Save your receipts and send them to us! We turn them in and receive a financial contribution back from ACME. Everyone eats, everyone shops, everyone wins!
